From twins to a family of stores
Everything But The Baby was founded over 30 years ago by Chaya Pruss, a mother of 14, after she had the first of three sets of twins. She didn't want to run across town for everything she needed to care for her little ones, so, young and ambitious, she opened her own shop.
She started with a handful of items out of a basement and reinvested every bit of profit in new and expanded merchandise. Slowly the business grew to offer the full selection of baby gear, youth furnishings, and eventually adult furniture and mattresses.
